Mochi was transferred to us from a municipal shelter together with her daughter, Jorang.
A tiny, innocent puppy too young to understand the world, just purely adorable.

Jorang is a very small baby puppy, born prematurely.
She was so young that she could not understand
what was happening to her,
or why she had been placed in an unfamiliar environment—
too young to even begin to process the situation.
Cradled in her mother mocci’s arms,
Jorang was born into circumstances
she had no power to choose.
The memories of puppyhood may one day fade,
but witnessing that moment through human eyes
was undeniably heartbreaking.
The four littermates born on the same day as Jorang
have all been adopted.
Jorang, too, is still very small and young,
and we were told that “there would be plenty of potential adopters for her.”
However, Forcatmung Center chose not to separate
this puppy from her mother, mocci.
With that decision,
our center expressed its intention
to take in mocci and Jorang together,
and through a donation-based transfer,
the mother and daughter came to Forcatmung Center.

After being transferred,
both dogs received veterinary treatment.
Jorang was diagnosed with pneumonia,
and her mother, mocci, with a parasitic infection.
They are currently undergoing treatment
and are now recovering steadily in stable condition. 🏥
Mocci had to endure quiet goodbyes.
Each time one of her puppies
left into the arms of strangers,
she could neither bark nor hold them back—
only experience those farewells in silence.
Now, together with Jorang,
she is spending her days in the warmth of the center,
nursing, recovering,
and staying faithfully by each other’s side. 🤍

We hope that Jorang’s life will not be a story that begins with separation,
but one that continues with time spent together with her mother.
Jorang, a tiny puppy born into the world without understanding anything,
is now waiting—together with her mother, mocci for a warm, loving home
that will hold them for a lifetime. 🏡🐶
