Nacho went through a failed adoption once,
and later found another family through a free adoption program at a rescue shelter.
Sadly, that bond didn’t last long either,
and Nacho was returned once again — eventually finding his way to our center.
At first, there was a plan to place Nacho in a newly opened pet shop next to the center by paying a fee.
Through counseling, however, we explained that places which accept animals for money are operating as businesses, not as true shelters.
That’s how Nacho came to Poketmung Center.
Perhaps because of being abandoned twice,
Nacho is still very sensitive
and has difficulty approaching people first.
But when a toy is waved in front of him,
his eyes sparkle, and he plays more joyfully than anyone else.
In his own way, he is slowly learning how to trust again 🧶
He’s still cautious,
but day by day, as he adjusts to life at the center,
he is gently beginning to let go of his past wounds.
Behind Nacho’s cute and charming face
is a delicate heart.
With time and patience,
he is sure to show even more of his wonderful personality.
