Taco was a cat who had been left to live for a long time
in a space filled with piles of garbage inside a home.

The original guardian said,
“Please take care of him for just two weeks,”
and left Taco behind — then disappeared without contact for two years.

As time passed, the house fell further and further into neglect,
eventually becoming a place where even people could not live properly.
In such conditions, it was nearly impossible for a cat to receive proper care.

Surrounded by uncollected trash, foul odors,
and traces that had never been cleaned,
Taco was simply left there.

The situation was finally discovered
during a cleanup carried out by our partner company, Geunseong Clean,
and only then was Taco able to be rescued.

Despite everything he endured,
Taco did not come to hate people.

When you approach him,
he lets out a cautious little “meow”
and gently comes closer, rubbing his face against your hand.

He remembers the warmth of human touch,
and even now, he still believes in it and waits for it.

When he looks at people with his bright, shining eyes,
it’s hard to believe all the time he has endured —
you can feel just how gentle his heart truly is.

Though he was abandoned,
he never closed his heart to people.

Taco is now
waiting for his true family.
This time,
for someone who will stay with him until the very end 🐾
