Ben was found on a military runway, shot multiple times.

She had briefly stepped out of the house with another dog she lived with, named Nuri.
But they lost their way and accidentally entered an Air Force base.

For safety reasons, animals that enter military runways—whether wild or stray—are sometimes shot on sight.

And… in that tragic moment, Ben and Nuri were there.

Nuri, who entered with her, was shot and died instantly on the spot.

Ben, on the other hand, was shot six times and barely survived.

Covered in blood, she was rushed to the hospital.

Through her microchip, her owner was identified…
but the response that came back was:
“The treatment cost is too high, so we want euthanasia.”

At that moment, Ben’s life could have ended.

But there were people who refused to give up on her.

An acquaintance of the original owner, along with the person who reported the case and many others, stepped in to save Ben.

They took her to the hospital, arranged for surgery,
and continued to seek help—never giving up until the end.

Thanks to them, Ben was given another chance at life,
and she eventually came to Forcatmung Center. 🐶✨

Here’s Ben now 💛

She’s still a little timid and shy,
but she’s a brave girl who is trying her best every single day
to adjust to her new environment.

When she goes out for walks, she doesn’t pull on the leash and walks calmly—such a well-mannered girl.

She eats well and is slowly learning to accept human touch,
making her an intelligent and truly lovable dog.

Ben’s uniquely beautiful coat and her deep, soulful eyes
are something you won’t easily forget once you see them.

She lost her friend, Nuri, and was once abandoned at the edge of life.

And yet, despite everything, she continues to live on.

Now, we hope to give her not more pain, but warm and happy memories.

Ben is currently waiting for a family
who will gently embrace her scars and love her for who she is 🐾
