Popcorn was found beneath an overpass,
lying on the cold, hard ground.

When first discovered, the area felt abandoned—untouched by people,
and this tiny puppy was curled up alone, with nowhere to rely on.

When taken to the hospital, Popcorn was estimated to be only 3–4 months old,
still just a very young puppy.

His condition was not a minor one.
Every time he tried to walk, he showed discomfort in his hind leg,
and upon closer examination, one of his knees was found to be twisted out of place.

Why was such a young puppy left there all alone?
Was he abandoned because he needed medical treatment?
Or was he discarded after not being sold at a pet shop,
deemed to have no value?

The truth remains unknown.

We hoped someone might be desperately searching for him,
but no one ever came forward.

In the end, this little puppy was left alone,
and was brought to the center.

Despite everything, Popcorn greets even strangers with a wagging tail,
leaning in as if he just wants to be held.

Even though he may have been hurt by people,
he still trusts them—and chooses to approach first.

His hind leg still seems uncomfortable,
and he limps slightly when he walks,

but with his small body, he runs toward people with all his might,
constantly making eye contact, wanting to be just a little closer.

Popcorn is still waiting for someone.

So that he no longer has to lie on cold ground,
but instead can live in the warmth of a loving home,

will you become Popcorn’s family? 🐾
