At a municipal animal shelter,
we met four cats who looked a little different.

Because of physical challenges,
they rarely had the chance to be adopted.
But the cats themselves
were not different at all.

They loved people,
felt comfort in human touch,
and lived each day doing their very best 🐾

Pocatmung Center took them into our care
with one sincere wish—
that they would not be labeled as “disabled cats,”
but simply live as cats.

One of them is Otto 🤍

Otto was born without an anus.
Because of this condition,
waste was discharged through the genital area,
and immediate surgical intervention was necessary.

As soon as Otto arrived at the center,
he was transferred straight to the hospital,
where he is currently receiving inpatient treatment
and recovering.

Even at the hospital,
Otto eats well,
walks up to the staff first to ask for affection,
and spends each day bravely 😊

Though his body is still healing,
his condition is steadily improving—
and above all,
he has an incredibly sweet and gentle personality.

With his beautiful face
and warm heart toward people,
Otto is a cat who is ready to be loved.

What Otto needs
is a little time,
and a family willing to wait with him.

Right now,
Otto is waiting for a family
who will call him by his name 🐱🤍
