Twelve cats were rescued after being neglected in a home where proper care was not possible.

Medical Conditions

※ Detailed medical and health information will be provided to confirmed prospective adopters or adopters after the adoption application process.

The rescue initially began with the intention of helping a cat who was struggling to survive on the streets.
However, as the rescue efforts continued, the situation gradually became overwhelming.

Without adequate care and proper management,
the cats ended up living together in one home for an extended period of time,
left in a state of neglect.

Inside the home, a total of 12 cats were living together.
Among them, only three had been spayed or neutered.
The remaining nine cats, all well over one year old,
had never undergone sterilization.

The house could no longer be considered a livable space.
The litter boxes were not maintained,
allowing waste to accumulate,
and the strong odor and contamination from urine had deeply permeated the entire home.
Cat hair and filth were tangled across the floors, furniture, and walls,
creating an environment where neither people nor animals could live safely.

Living together in such conditions was simply not possible for 12 cats.
Their fur was severely matted,
and many showed visibly worsened skin conditions,
clear signs that even basic hygiene care had been neglected for a long time.

During the on-site inspection,
the body of a very young kitten was discovered inside a freezer.
The kitten had passed away during the period of care,
revealing the tragic reality that this situation had long exceeded
what one individual could manage alone.

This was not merely a matter of personal responsibility.
It was a space that clearly required structural support
and outside intervention
for multiple lives to coexist safely.

Recognizing that the situation was no longer manageable alone,
the original caretaker requested help from Geunseong Clean.
After confirming the severity of the conditions,
Forcatmung Center, in cooperation with Geunseong Clean,
proceeded with the rescue.

Hayangi
is a cat who loves affection just a little extra 🤍

He truly enjoys being loved,
and if you’re petting another cat,
He’ll quietly come over, rub his face against you,
and gently remind you of his presence.

In front of people,
he has no trouble showing his belly
and knows exactly how to charm his way into your heart.

After his rescue, his fur was shaved for hygiene care,
but once it grows back,
he’ll be even more stunning than he is now ✨

Hayangi is full of charm
and loves human attention and gentle touch.

He is now waiting
for a family who will give him all the love he enjoys so much 🐾
