He was living in a rabbit enclosure behind a campground.
His caretaker, unable to continue caring for the animals, gave them to someone else, and they continued living in the rabbit enclosure until they were eventually rescued and brought to our center.
He has a gentle nature and is very affectionate.
Whenever he’s petted, he expresses his love by purring happily.
He also enjoys resting calmly on a lap
and can become quite playful and energetic when he sees toys.

Munji is a cat who came into the care of our center after being left in an unsuitable environment.
A Sphynx cat, Munji was discovered following a report that cats had been abandoned in a rabbit cage.
A total of six cats were rescued together from the same confined space.
Given that Sphynx cats have little to no fur,
being left outdoors was an extremely dangerous situation for Munji,
and the center determined that immediate action was necessary.
After careful discussion, ownership was formally relinquished,
and the cats were safely rescued.
Munji is now living in a stable and secure environment
under the care of the Pocatmong Center.
Since arriving at the center,
Munji has adapted relatively quickly to the new surroundings
and is steadily regaining health and daily routine through consistent care. 🤍
Now, in a calm environment,
Munji is learning how to live with people
while waiting for his forever family.
