Jerry was a cat whose eye condition was not good from the very first time we met.

There was a time when Jerry lived happily in the arms of a loving family.
But one day, the news heard at the hospital was not something light.
There was a diagnosis that the eye might need to be removed,
and that there was also a problem with the heart.
After hearing this, the family could not continue their time with Jerry until the end.

Was it because the eye hurt, or because the heart did?
Jerry was left alone like that.

Even after arriving at the shelter,
the eye repeatedly filled with inflammation,
and multiple treatments had to be continued.
In the end, the eye became dry and sunken.
Even so, Jerry is a cat who quietly endured all that time.

And now, Jerry’s time is slowly beginning to change. ✨
With the care of the Pochetmong Center,
Jerry is steadily receiving treatment
and will be able to live a more comfortable daily life.

A child who is moving forward—slowly, but clearly—toward a better direction.
Though having a slightly different appearance,
Jerry has a heart that is even deeper because of it.

Now, Jerry is waiting for a family
who will walk the days ahead together. 🐾
